On the evening of April 9, Russian troops shelled the border settlement of Semenivka, Chernihiv region. Two people became victims of Russian shelling.
This is evidenced by reports from local authorities and law enforcement agencies.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported that Semenivka was shelled from barrel and rocket artillery.
According to him, a civilian resident died as a result of shelling.
It is worth noting that all relevant services are working at the scene of the incident.
“About 10 civil infrastructure buildings have been damaged. Police officers and all relevant services are on the scene. Civilian objects, private homes, farm buildings, and cars have been damaged by enemy strikes. Ceilings and roofs in buildings have been gutted, walls and facades have been mutilated, and window glass has been blown out “, the message says.
Semenivka is located in the northeast of Chernihiv region. The distance to the Russian border is about 12 kilometers.
Later, the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine said that as a result of the shelling of Semenivka there was one more victim – a man who was wounded.
The shelling resulted in damage to civil infrastructure, private households, farm buildings and cars.
