As of the morning of November 6, shelling by Russian troops affected several settlements in the Donetsk region. No civilian casualties were recorded on November 5, but residential and industrial facilities were severely damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
In the Pokrovsky district, the Russians shelled Kurakhove and Hannivka, damaging private houses. The communities of Marinsk and Grodivsk also came under fire.
In the Kramatorsk district, a residential building was destroyed in the Torske village of the Lyman community, and in Kostyantynivka, a coffee shop, a power line, and two cars were damaged.
Two private houses were damaged in the Bakhmut district in Siversk, and five private houses, two high-rise buildings and an industrial building were damaged in the Chasovoyarsk community.
In total, Russian forces carried out seven attacks on populated areas of Donetsk region.
In connection with the shelling, 187 people, including 20 children, were evacuated from the combat zone to protect them from the threat of shelling.
