On November 8, the Russian army shelled the border communities of the Chernihiv region 24 times.
This was reported by the Northern Regional Department of the State Border Service: “During the day, the Russians fired 24 times from their territory on the border of the Chernihiv region. 206 explosions were recorded. The Novgorod-Siversk, Semenivsk, Snovsk and Horodnyansk communities came under fire.”
In particular, 8 explosions were heard in the Novgorod-Siversk community. The shelling was probably carried out from a 120 mm mortar and barrel artillery.
45 explosions were recorded in the Semenivska community (probably from a 120 mm mortar and rocket and barrel artillery).
The Russians probably shelled the Snovska and Horodnyansk communities with mortars and anti-aircraft guns – 62 and 91 explosions were heard in these communities, respectively.
The Russians continue to shell the territories of Chernihiv region. A total of 15 shellings (116 explosions) from various types of weapons were counted during November 8. Information about the dead or wounded among the local population was also not recorded.
