The Russians shelled the Donetsk region: there is a victim and many wounded

Russian troops shelled the territory of the Donetsk region – as a result of the attack, one person was killed and eight others were injured. This is reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the prosecutor’s office, on the night of August 30, the Russians once again attacked populated areas of the Donetsk region. In particular, the residential quarters of Kurakhovo came under enemy fire.

“At the epicenter of the explosions was a farm, where two watchmen, aged 44 and 59, died. Cattle were also injured. Residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged by the explosions,” added the prosecutor’s office.

During the day, Russian troops struck more than five residential quarters in Kurakhovo, Donetsk region. One person died as a result of the attack.

Roman Padun, the head of Kurakhivska City Military Administration, announced this.

According to local authorities, the Russians targeted the central part of the city with artillery. One of the blows fell on a five-story residential building.

Initially, it was reported that seven people were injured, but closer to noon, rescuers retrieved the body of a dead person from under the rubble.

“One person was killed as a result of air rocket fire, eight more people were injured as a result of shelling of the community. It was a direct hit to a high-rise building. The fifth and fourth floors of the building were destroyed,” Padun said.

We will remind, in addition to Kurakhovo, the Russians attacked the village of Bogatyr in the Volnovasky district. Two men died as a result of the shelling.

In the port of temporarily occupied Mariupol, the Russians are loading another batch of stolen Ukrainian grain onto a ship.

This was reported by Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the chairman of Mariupol.

“They are stealing again. Grain. Another ship,” he wrote.

Andryushchenko noted that the Russians have already repaired the conveyor belt for loading, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the process of loading Ukrainian grain.

“It is quite possible that now the grain will go mainly by sea. Since the tendency of the dominance of road transport was still maintained,” the chairman’s adviser summarized.
