The Russians shelled the Zaporizhzhia region 240 times over the past weekend: one person was wounded

Russian troops are shelling peaceful settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region every day – according to the police, over the weekend, the Russians fired 240 blows from various weapons. As a result of the shelling, the houses of peaceful residents were destroyed. An elderly man from Gulyaipol was injured.

The press service of the National Police reported on the details of the Russian shelling at the weekend. On January 20 and 21, the Russian army bombarded populated areas with multiple rocket launchers, carried out 82 UAV attacks and 149 artillery strikes on other cities and villages.

On January 20 and 21, Russian troops shelled Gulyaipole, Orihiv, Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Robotine, Charivne, Chervone, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Malynyvka, Poltavka, Chervone, Novodanilivka, Biloghirya, Gulyaipilske, Shcherbaki, with various types of weapons. Novoyakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Lobkovo, Pyatikhatky, Mali Shcherbaki, Plavni.

Russian shells damaged the homes of residents of Pologiv and Vasyliv districts. In addition, outbuildings and garages were damaged by the blast wave and debris. On January 20, a 70-year-old civilian was wounded during artillery fire in Gulyaipolе. The man was hospitalized.

This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration in yesterday’s report on shelling. Law enforcement officers collected evidence of war crimes and opened criminal proceedings, legal qualification – Part 1 of Art. 438 (Violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
