This is already the second call to the ranks of the Russian army in the captured territories.
In the occupied Ukrainian territories, the Russians announced the start of a conscription campaign that will last until December 31 of this year. The head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, wants to call up at least 150,000 people to the Russian army, among them a significant proportion is in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions, as well as Crimea, reports the Center of National Resistance.
The Center of National Resistance emphasized that this is already the second call to the ranks of the Russian army in the occupied territories. Last year, conscripts were promised not to be involved in hostilities, but as a result, many were forced to sign contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense and fight against Ukraine.
They also added that the Russians are taking measures to prepare for the mobilization of Ukrainians. The occupation administrations demand that businesses register their employees with the Russian military commissariats. The Center of National Resistance noted that such tactics are a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions.
“We urge you to avoid the risks of being drafted into the Russian army in order not to become a victim of Russia’s cynical strategy, which uses Ukrainians as “cannon fodder” in its aggressive war,” the Center of National Resistance emphasized.
On September 30, Putin signed a decree on the start of the autumn draft for military service. He ordered to call up 133,000 conscripts aged 18 to 30 who are not in the reserve and are subject to conscription.
