The Russians intensified their offensive in the Kupyansk direction and inflicted many blows on civilians

The head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleg Synegubov, said that on October 15, the Russian military bombarded the village of Druzhelyubivka in the Izyum district. As a result of the explosion, a private house was destroyed. There was also a fire. There are injured and dead.

The Russians were sent to settlements in the Kupyan, Chuguyiv and Izyum districts.

“At night, October 15, around 02:30, the Russians attacked the village of Druzhelyubivka in the Izyum district with a guided aerial bomb. A private house was destroyed, a fire broke out. 2 people died – a 57-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman. One woman received a shrapnel wound and was hospitalized in satisfactory condition “, he noted.

He also added that a multi-story residential building was damaged due to shelling in the city of Vovchansk, Chuguyiv district. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Russians also struck the following settlements: Kupyansk, Liman Pershiy, Synkivka, Kucherivka, Ivanovka, Kislivka, Berestov, etc. Residents of Golubivka, Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Podoliv, and Pishchany fell under the enemy’s air force.

Now there is a phase of active demining of the territory of Kharkiv Oblast. Employees of the State Emergency Service were able to investigate more than 8 hectares of land and eliminate all the explosives that were found.

In addition, Sinegubov said that fighting continues in the Kupyansk direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 10 Russian infantry assaults near Synkivka and Ivanovka. The invaders suffered heavy losses there.

Russia does not stop shelling

Earlier it was reported that the Russians began to advance on all areas of the front and, accordingly, intensified their work with artillery and aviation on civilian and residential buildings, as well as critical infrastructure. In this way, they tried to capture Avdiivka, Donetsk region, but they did not succeed. On October 11, the front-line city was heavily shelled. The military says that this is the first time in all time that the Russians have started using so many missiles against them in this direction. Also, civilians who did not leave the settlement were pulled out from under the rubble.

On October 14, Russian troops shelled Berislav, Kherson region. They destroyed a private house. It was reported that one person died. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, the woman was 60 years old.
