The Russians bombarded the energy infrastructure with all types of weapons.
Oleksiy Khomenko, the first deputy prosecutor general, said that not a single region in Ukraine escaped shelling of energy facilities by Russian forces, some of which were hit by the Russians more than 40 times.
He emphasized that almost all types of energy distribution and energy generating Ukrainian enterprises came under Russian fire from all types of weapons. According to him, the Russians caused more than one billion dollars worth of damage to our energy system. At the same time, he also indicated that it is currently impossible to establish the exact amount of damages.
According to the information of the Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, as a result of Russian strikes, as of today in Ukraine, Russian forces have damaged more than 184,000 civilian objects.
One of the most massive strikes on the energy system of Ukraine showed a change in the tactics of the Russian occupation forces. The Russians began using cluster munitions that damage unprotected equipment, although often non-critically.
