According to residents, a grandfather who was taking care of a little boy recently died in Energodar. After that, the Russians took the child to Melitopol.

As the chairman of Melitopol reported, the boy’s remaining relatives are knocking on all the doors, but to no avail. The occupying authorities do not provide information about him. “Let me remind you that only according to the data of the enemy’s “Ministry of Social Policy of the Zaporizhzhia Region”, the Russians took 223 children into their hands in one year,” he added. Earlier, the Russians conscripted a minor from Mariupol into the army, who was abducted by the Russian President’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lvоvа-Bilova, along with other orphans.
Petro Andryushchenko, an adviser to the chairman of Mariupol, said that Bohdan Yermokhin, a resident of Mariupol, is seventeen years old. From Moscow, the boy was interned in the “Polyana” children’s “sanatorium”. In July 2022, despite the presence of a legal guardian, Bohdan was illegally transferred to the custody of a Russian family. According to the resident of Mariupol, he was issued a Russian passport and arranged to study. In April 2023, the boy tried to return to Ukraine, but he was detained at the border with Belarus and returned to his foster family.

The day before, the official said that Russia is abducting Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories through the humanitarian mission “Children in Hands”, which was founded by the Russian Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova. It was created by the occupier under the guise of the Russian Humanitarian Mission, a global organization that promotes Russian influence through the “humanitarian sphere” and looks like a network of agents of influence in all respects.

However, in April, the regional websites of representatives of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights started advertising and fundraising. This strangely coincides with the time when Lvоva-Bilova started abduction of children from Mariupol. In such cases, it is difficult to believe in a coincidence of times,” Andryushchenko added.
