The ruthless destruction of Ukraine’s urban infrastructure

Today on March 8,2022, Russia’s treacherous war against Ukraine continues for 13 days. There is no question of seizing and establishing power in Ukraine which they’d like to subordinate to the federation. The armed forces and forces of territorial defense of Ukraine inflict huge losses on the occupiers. In a helpless rage, the enemy’s aviation and missile forces continue to bomb civilian cities, destroying homes and infrastructure.

Russia drops bombs on houses in Chernihiv intended for fortifications

Russian troops are dropping powerful, indiscriminate weapons – unguided FAB-500 air bombs – on houses in Chernihiv. Such weapons are usually used against military-industrial facilities and fortifications.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of Viacheslav Chaus, the head of Chernihiv regional state administration.

Three such unexploded bombs were found on March 5 at the site of the downing of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, which was shot down by air defense soldiers near Chernihiv in the morning.
