The State Emergency Service has been clearing the rubble of the Ukrposhta logistics hub in Kharkiv since the night of June 8

Rescuers are still extinguishing the fire and clearing the rubble on the territory of the postal hub in the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv, damaged as a result of a UAV strike on the night of June 8. Skydivers are dismantling the destroyed and damaged structures of the building.

At the same time, Ukrposhta reported that it had temporarily changed the scheme for processing and delivering parcels after the strike on the Kharkiv logistics hub.

Reserve capacity in another city was used to process shipments from the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Some of the cars heading to the city were redirected to other sorting sites on the night of June 8. Ukrposhta also doubled the number of drivers’ flights per day for Kharkiv.

The company is currently forming lists for compensation for damaged parcels. Previously, customers will start receiving messages with instructions on June 10.

As a result of the strike, the logistics hub building was significantly destroyed, and part of the sorting equipment was damaged. The exact extent of the damage will be determined later.
