The three-story apartment building in Odessa, where the couple died, will probably be demolished

The three-story apartment building, which was significantly damaged by an enemy drone this night, will probably be demolished.

This was reported by the first deputy head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Kharlov. The three-story building, which had 18 apartments, will most likely not be restored, but will be demolished. The issue of resettlement and housing for people will be resolved, – Kharlov noted.

It was in this building that an elderly couple died at night.

Kharlov added that three floors of a 16-story building in another district of the city were damaged. Experts are working on the site to assess the damaged structures.

Six people ended up in the hospital after a night attack by Russian drones on Odessa on the night of May 1. A total of 15 Odessa residents were injured. Due to the massive attack by Russian strike UAVs, civilian infrastructure, high-rise buildings, private houses, shops and cars were damaged in the city.
