The report talks about how many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and what is the general financial and moral situation of the citizens.
5.4 million Ukrainians became internally displaced persons;
8 million citizens, 90% of whom are women and children, were forced to leave Ukraine and seek refuge in European countries;
1.2 million Ukrainian children were forced to leave their homes, and the quality of their education was also significantly affected;
2.4 million Ukrainians lost their jobs;
7.1 million Ukrainians risk being below the poverty line;
65% of families in Ukraine experienced a decrease in income;
45% of the population belongs to at least one vulnerable group;
15 million Ukrainians need psychological support.
The situation of Ukrainian women and their access to housing, education, medicine, reproductive and other rights and services has also worsened. The risks and number of cases of gender-based, domestic and sexual violence against women have increased significantly.
