How many are injured and in what condition?
As of 20:23, the number of victims has increased to 42 people. Among the injured are four children: three boys aged 1, 12 and 13 and a 4-year-old girl.
At 17:53, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that 14 people were hospitalized as a result of an attack on a high-rise building in Kharkiv. Among adults, the victims are aged from 33 to 86 years.
Earlier, he noted that one woman and a 12-year-old boy are in serious condition.
Viktor Zabashta, director of the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance, said that the children had shrapnel wounds, fractures, bruises, concussions, and minor burns.
As of 8:20 p.m., the search for a 94-year-old woman was ongoing under the rubble of the house. At the time of the attack, she remained at home alone. Her relatives were in the store. Zelenskyі’s reaction to the shelling of the city
The President of Ukraine, V. Zelenskyi, emphasized that another strike on Kharkiv is a signal to the world, which should help protect Ukraine from Russian military aircraft, from dozens of guided air bombs that take the lives of Ukrainians every day.
“This terror can be stopped. But in order to stop terror, it is necessary to stop the fear of strong decisions, which are objectively necessary. This war can be ended justly only by determination.
