Russian troops shelled Kyiv on the night of March 23. The strike killed 5-year-old Nicole and her father Oleksandr. The family recently moved to the capital from the frontline city of Orikhov in Zaporizhzhia region.

The child’s mother is currently in the hospital, where doctors are fighting for her recovery.

On March 20, according to the family’s neighbors, Nicole was performing in a kindergarten with other children, and on March 23, her life was cut short.
