In the temporarily occupied Oleshkiv community in the Kherson region, the water is gradually receding, but now houses are being destroyed en masse. Meanwhile, the Russians began to carry out filtering measures against people who were evacuated from the community.
Tetyana Hasanenko, head of the Oleshkivska city military administration, spoke about the situation. She also noted that there are many dead people in the settlement, and no one collects their bodies.
Currently, as Hasanenko noted, it is officially known about eight dead people, whose bodies were previously sent to the hospital. The search for people in the community continues. The situation in Solontsi settlement is critical at the moment.
In Oleshki itself, there is not enough fuel for boats and generators. Products are brought by boats from neighboring villages, and then local people help distribute them: they deliver them on boats and air mattresses.
Those who can reach their buses will be evacuated by the occupiers to Radensk and Skadovsk. There, people are settled in boarding houses and filtering measures are carried out in relation to them. According to Hasanenko, Ukrainian passports are taken from those deported, they are returned selectively, they are not allowed to leave the rooms, there is a military guard. The official added that the local population is afraid to leave, because it “could be a one-way street.”
Earlier it was reported that a humanitarian disaster occurred in the territory of the Oleshkiv community of the Kherson region temporarily occupied by Russia due to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP. There is no communication in flooded Oleshki, the occupiers are only pretending to help people. In fact, they only take two or three people, and then take them to a place where the water is about chest-deep, where they disembark from the boat. Then people have to save themselves.
