There are almost no whole high-rise buildings left in Kherson

The Russian army has mutilated almost all high-rise buildings in Kherson with regular shelling, there are only a few of them today. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, told about it.

“In Kherson, perhaps a small number of high-rise buildings remained intact, almost every one was damaged. Every day Kherson region lives with such attacks, in total, more than 26,000 objects of civil, social and critical infrastructure have already been damaged or destroyed, including 23,700 private and 1,100 – high-rise buildings,” he said.

On April 1, according to the head of the regional military administration, the Russians opened fire on eight populated areas of the region – these are Kherson, Beryslav, Yantarne, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Antonivka, Sadove and L’vоvе. Two people were injured.

The Russians targeted residential areas, four private houses and one apartment building were destroyed. The gas pipeline was also damaged as a result of the shelling.

“Almost everyone is hit on critical infrastructure, these are far from isolated cases, this is a tactic of the Russian army. Of course, specialists quickly restore networks hit by enemy fire and have learned to do it quickly over the past two years. For example, yesterday in the settlement of Bilozersk hromada, where the gas pipeline was damaged, everything was immediately blocked and fixed. Currently, gas supply has been restored in 79 out of 89 settlements, in total, 90% of consumers are connected to the network,” Prokudin said.
