Two people were killed and two more were wounded as a result of Russian attacks. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region.
“On March 24, Russian troops attacked 9 settlements: the cities of Dobropillya, Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Sloviansk, Toretsk, the village of Donetske, the villages of Markove and Nova Poltavka,” the National Police reported.
According to law enforcement officials, Russian troops opened fire from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system, damaging two apartment buildings and one private house, and a gas pipeline. One civilian died as a result of the shelling of the village of Donetske with the Smerch multiple launch rocket system.
“In Pokrovsk, one person was killed and one was wounded as a result of Russian strikes,” the National Police noted.
According to the report, a civilian was injured and a private house was damaged in Markovo during artillery shelling by the occupation forces.
In addition, Russian troops dropped FAB-250 air bombs on Rodynske, Kostyantynivka and Nova Poltavka.
On March 23, more than 3,800 Russian shelling of the front line and settlements of the Donetsk region was recorded.
