On November 2, Russian troops fired artillery at Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, and a gas leak occurred. One of the villages of the region was also under attack, where power lines were damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kima: “Since 04:01, enemy artillery shelling has been recorded in the water area and territory of Ochakiv, Ochakiv community.”

Consequences of Ochakіv’s shelling

The attack on the city, as Kim said, damaged multi-story residential and private buildings, the electricity network and gas pipeline.

“There was a gas leak, which was promptly stopped. There were no injuries,” he added.

In addition, according to the head of the regional military administration, at 5:00 a.m. as a result of enemy shelling of Lymana settlement of Halytsynivska hromada, the power grid was damaged.

“There are no casualties,” Kim stated.
