The Russians ransacked the “Starobil elevator” (Luhansk region) and took away almost 900 tons of grain.
This was reported by the Center of National Resistance.
“In particular, more than 600 tons of wheat grain and 275 tons of sunflower grain were stolen,” the report says.
It is noted that this was the 2021 harvest. All of it was marked by the occupiers as “ownerless property” and transferred to the “agrarian fund of the LPR”.
“That is, in fact, the Russians simply stole the grain from the owners, because they did not cooperate with them. All such crimes are recorded by the local underground and handed over to law enforcement agencies,” the Center of National Resistance added.
The Center reminds that none of those who have committed a crime will escape punishment provided by the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers allocated humanitarian aid to Sudan, Yemen, Kenya and Nigeria. Wheat and corn will be sent to starving countries.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced a new international initiative – Grain from Ukraine. Within its borders, Ukrainian food will be sent to countries in Africa and Asia.
The Russian occupiers mobilized most of the miners in the temporarily occupied areas of the Luhansk region.
This is reported by the Center of National Resistance.
“Yes, the Russians sent 58% of the miners of “Vostokugol” to the front, to which most of the pressed mines of the region signed up. Because of this, the collaborators even asked Moscow to reduce the pace of mobilization, so that the coal mining industry does not come to a complete halt,” the center said in a statement.
At the same time, the Center of National Resistance calls on residents of the temporarily occupied territories to leave the region and not become a resource for the enemy.
In the occupied territory of the Donetsk region, the DPR group announced the demobilization of graduate students from local organizations.
The corresponding “decree”, signed by Denis Pushilin, appeared on the network.
The text of the “paper” reads as follows:
“Dismiss from military service citizens called up for military service by mobilization, who at the time of their call-up received an education of the appropriate level for the first time, who studied full-time and part-time forms of education:
In educational and scientific organizations for state-accredited educational programs of secondary vocational and higher education (including residency programs and assistant-internship programs);
In educational and scientific organizations under the programs for the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in graduate school.
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, the Rashists intend to destroy at least 914 more high-rise buildings — in addition to the 1,356 they destroyed earlier.
This is stated in the message of the Mariupol City Council.
“Destruction and destruction. This is what the occupiers brought with them to Mariupol. 1,356 high-rise buildings were erased from the map of the city during the siege. Now they plan to demolish another 914 houses. And they are already doing it.
Hundreds of thousands of Mariupol residents were left without their homes. They were forced to leave their native city, because every day the Russians mercilessly killed peaceful people – according to their cynical words, they “liberated,” the report says.
The night in Donetsk region passed relatively calmly, without casualties. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.
As noted, in the central part of the region shelling of Vugledar and the vicinity of Vodyanyi was recorded. There were also isolated flights over the old part of Avdiivka at night, and in the morning the city was shelled. We are finding out the consequences
“In the north of the region, massive shelling of Torskyi and Zarichnyh in the Lymansk community continues, there was also a lot of noise on the outskirts of the Toretsk community – we are establishing the consequences of the shelling,” the message says.
On November 28, the Russians wounded 1 civilian in Donetsk region — in Torskyi.
This was announced by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.
Currently, it is impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovas.
In Ukraine, in the Donetsk area of fighting, the situation, according to the authorities and the military, remains the most difficult. The Russian army is trying to advance: critical and civilian infrastructure in Avdiivka and Bakhmut are being fired from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery. At the same time, civilians, including children, still remain in the cities. Humanitarian aid is brought to people and asked to evacuate.
About how Ukrainians survive in destroyed houses, why not everyone can and wants to evacuate, and how local “points of indestructibility” work, said Tatyana Ignatchenko, a representative of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Why aren’t people evacuated yet?
– I would not say that people are not evacuated. The vast majority of residents of the Donetsk region, in particular Bakhmut, still left. Let me illustrate this with a number. At the time of the start of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine, 1 million 670 thousand people lived in the region. Now there are about 420 thousand left. You can see for yourself what the numbers are. We understand that mostly people with limited mobility remain: the elderly, old age, which is probably hard to change their habits. It is terrible that children still remain in the frontline zone. That’s just families with children given priority.
Even from those settlements that have now actually turned into a war zone, evacuation is still possible. That is, you just need the desire of people. Now, of course, it is already much more difficult to evacuate, but nevertheless people leave. They can do it absolutely free. In fact, from the first day of a large-scale invasion, we have been conducting a systematic evacuation of the population.
Compulsory evacuation has been declared since August 1, but even it does not provide for forced evacuation. Therefore, we act by persuasion: we offer people to evacuate, and not only outside the Donetsk region, but also within its borders. Maybe part of the population has some kind of psychological barrier in this regard. For example, from the same Bakhmut you can move to Kramatorsk, where it is relatively calm – I emphasize, relatively. Or to Pokrovsk, which is also located at a considerable distance from the front line. Now, those who still remain in the Donetsk region, mostly simply internally do not want to go anywhere.
– Some experts say that Bakhmut is already almost destroyed. This is true?
Yes, unfortunately it is true. And not only Bakhmut. Avdiivka, Maryinka, Krasnogorovka, of course, the city of Mariupol, Volnovakha – all of them are already in ruins. In the recently liberated territories – in the Limansky community, in the Svyatogorsk community – 80% of housing is unsuitable for life. In a small village near Svyatogorsk, in Bogorodichny, 100% of housing has been destroyed. In fact, everything is destroyed, literally to the ground. It is this picture that the so-called Russian world and the Russian occupiers leave behind.
– And yet, people still remain in some settlements. How do they manage to survive there?
-Let’s talk about examples. We will talk about the Svyatogorsk and Limansk communities, where almost all residential buildings have been destroyed. Now local residents receive building materials and can patch up some holes with their own hands. It’s not a massive renovation, but at least they can fit a room or two in their ruined building to get through the winter. For those who do not have stove heating or who have not survived, potbelly stoves are distributed. In high-rise buildings, unfortunately, centralized heating is now impossible, so they organize the so-called heating points – “invincibility points”. In the Liman and Svyatogorsk communities, people can not only spend the night at these points, but also warm up, cook food, and wash things. As of today, 184 such points have been organized around the clock in the Donetsk region. If there is no electricity, then people can come there, charge their mobile phones, warm up, drink tea. Most points are equipped with Starlink systems that provide access to the Internet.
Various communities throughout the region adapt these points to their needs. For example, in Slavyansk there are such remote areas where mostly pensioners and elderly people live. In six such points, hot full meals are organized there – however, only once a day. But nevertheless for people it is a great help.
In addition, children’s groups have been organized in Slavyansk on the basis of some points of indestructibility, because, unfortunately, not all children have left the city. When we worked in one of these centers, we saw how children of different ages worked together with educators. It was necessary to see how happy they were with each other, how happy they were to communicate. Let me remind you that before that there were two covid years, when there was distance learning and no live communication, and then the war began.
I cannot say that these children’s groups are a great initiative, because it is still forced. We understand that people would be happy to sit at home, watch TV, read, enjoy the benefits of civilization. But when Russia plunges us into so-called blackouts, when it deliberately attacks our critical infrastructure facilities, breaks down our transformer substations and stations that generate electricity, the facilities that supply our homes with water, heat, gas – of course, then the points of invincibility are islands where you can take at least some benefits for yourself.
