Employees of the Kherson Art Museum identified five more paintings that the Russian occupiers stole from Kherson and illegally placed in the Tavrida Central Museum.
This is stated on the museum page.
They recognized the works of art from the propaganda plot filmed in September 2023.
According to the information provided by the museum, experts identified:
“Mines of Chervonograd” 1974 by Viktor Tolochka;
“On the Dew” 1986 – Oleksia Kantemirova;
“Morning” 1974 – Mykola Andronov;
“The one who unsaddled the horse” 1987 – Viktor Kalinin.
As of January 22, 85 works have already been identified. The search for evidence confirming Russia’s crimes against the cultural heritage of Ukraine continues, the report says.
Thanks to satellite images, American museum workers recorded the looting of the occupation authorities in the Kherson Art Museum.
