Three people were injured, one woman died: investigators are documenting the consequences of shelling in the city of Zmiiv

On January 8, around 07:00, the Russians launched a missile attack on the city of Zmiiv, Chuguyiv district, Kharkiv region. 4 hits were recorded. Two rockets hit between residential buildings, two more on the territory of the enterprise. This was reported in the communication department of the police of the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, the roof of one of the buildings collapsed. Damaged windows and walls. The 89-year-old owner of the house was injured. He was taken to the hospital. The neighboring house was also completely destroyed. A 62-year-old woman had an acute reaction to stress. A 63-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were found under the rubble. The man was injured. The woman was taken out from under the rubble without signs of life.

In the city, houses and commercial buildings adjacent to the places of explosions were damaged.

Investigative and operative groups, forensic experts and explosives technicians worked at the places of arrivals.

According to the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
