Three policemen were wounded as a result of Russian shelling of a village in the Kharkiv region

They were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying degrees of severity. In addition, official vehicles were damaged.

On September 23, around 8:10 a.m., the Russian military, with Tornado-S missiles and cluster munitions, hit the village of Stary Saltiv in the Vovchan community. About five hits of Russian ammunition were recorded.

Two policemen, aged 38 and 33, were wounded as a result of the shelling. They were hospitalized with numerous explosive and shrapnel wounds. Another police officer sought medical help on his own. Damaged company cars.

An investigative and operative group, forensic experts and explosives technicians are working at the scene. Police officers document the consequences of enemy strikes, collect evidence of a crime.

On the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, reports the communication department of the police of the Kharkiv region.
