The 360th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine continues in Ukraine. The past day passed relatively calmly in the Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia regions and in the West of Ukraine.

Chernihiv Region

During the day, there were 3 shellings from artillery and mortars. The enemy shelled the Novgorod-Siverskyi, Chernihivskyi and Koryukivskyi districts. Without victims and destruction.

Sumy Region

Yesterday, three rockets were fired at the region from the territory of the Russian Federation. One of the missiles was destroyed by the anti-aircraft system. Two more S-300 type rockets hit Krasnopillya town. As a result of the said missile strike, windows in one of the buildings of the community were damaged.

Also yesterday, during the day, the enemy shelled seven territorial communities of the region: Esmanska, Yunakivska, Khotynska, Krasnopilska, Bilopolska, Glukhivska, and Znob-Novgorodska. More than 120 arrivals were recorded. Details regarding the consequences are being clarified.

Zaporizhzhia region

During the past day, the occupiers shelled the civilian infrastructure in the area of ​​the settlements of Novodanilivka, Gulyaipole, Orihiv, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Olgivske, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Biloghirya, Charivne, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske. There were 14 reports of destruction as a result of shelling. Details regarding the consequences are being clarified.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Yesterday, the enemy hit the Nikopol region four times – heavy artillery hit Nikopol itself, Chervonogrigorivska and Marganetska communities. A 76-year-old woman was injured and will be treated at home. As a result of shelling, 11 private houses and ten farm buildings were damaged, enemy shells cut off five power lines.

Kharkiv region

In the direction of Slobozhansk, the areas of settlements: Veterinarne, Graniv, Kozacha Lopan, Strelecha, Krasne, Borysivka, Vesele, Staritsa, Krasne Pershe came under fire.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the settlements: Kucherivka, Krokhmalne, and Berestov. The enemy fired from barrel and rocket artillery, mortars, and tanks. An airstrike was carried out in the city of Vovchansk. As a result of yesterday’s morning shelling of Kupyansk, two fires broke out in the private residential sector. As a result of shelling, a private house was damaged and a fire broke out in the village of Dvorichna, Kupian district. A 68-year-old civilian died.

As a result of the shelling of the village A civilian man was injured on May Day in Kharkiv district. Help was provided on the spot. The house was damaged.

In Vovchansk, Chuguyiv District, the buildings of the Center for Primary Medical Care were damaged. Garages and 5 cars were also damaged.

Luhansk Region

Over the past day, our soldiers repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the districts of Stelmakhivka, Chervonopivka, and Kreminnaya. On the Kupyansky and Lymansky directions, the enemy shelled Nevsky, Chervonopivka, Kreminnaya, Kuzmyny, Novoselivsky, Dibrova, and Bilogorivka. The Russians also carried out airstrikes near Stelmakhivka, Dibrova, Serebryansk Forestry, and Belogorivka. The situation in the region remains difficult.

Donetsk region 

In the morning, the old part of Avdiivka was shelled.

Ocheretyn administration: during the night shelling and fighting continued in the area of ​​the villages of Severnye, Vodyane, and Pervomaiske.

The shelling from artillery and MLRS on the outskirts of Chasovoy Yar did not stop all night.

Yesterday, about 15 private residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged as a result of rocket fire in Ivanopil’ Kostiantynivska territorial communities, three cars were burned; Inter-street gas line on the power grid is broken. One person died.

In the evening, the center of Pokrovsk was shelled (with the use of S-300 anti-aircraft missiles). The central square, buildings of two higher education institutions, a dormitory of one of them were damaged; gymnasium, high-rise buildings, destroyed and damaged private houses.

In Donetsk region, three people died and five were injured in one day.

Mykolaiv region 

On Saturday morning, the enemy shelled the settlement of Ochakivska communitу from anti-aircraft missiles, as a result of which residential buildings were damaged and outbuildings caught fire.

According to preliminary information, there are no victims. Yesterday afternoon – mortar attacks on the water area and coastal strip of Ochakivska community. No casualties.

Kherson region

According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the suburbs and the city of Kherson, as well as the districts of more than 25 settlements, in particular, Havrilivka, Dudchany, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Dniprovske, Berehove and Veletenske, were affected by enemy artillery fire in the Kherson direction.

On the evening of February 17, the Russian army shelled the Kherson community 10 times. The micro-districts of Ostriv and Zhytloselishche, as well as the suburb of Kherson – Sadove, were under fire. One resident of Sadovoi was killed. The building of the Kherson faculty of the Odessa University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the building of the visa center was damaged. Private houses were also destroyed.

In the village of Oleksandrivka, Kherson district, a 31-year-old man blew himself up on a Russian mine. It happened on the shore of the pond. The victim lost his foot. In general, one person was killed and three were injured during the day due to Russian aggression in the Kherson region.

February 17, the enemy opened fire three times on the territory of Chernihiv region. The communities of Novgorod-Siversk, Snovsk and Horodnyansk were under fire.

At noon, the Russians shelled the territory near the village of Kolos, Novgorod-Siverska hromada from self-propelled guns. 12 explosions were recorded here.

After lunch, the occupiers fired mortars in the direction of Senkivka, Horodnya community. Took 5 mines.

In the evening, the enemy indiscriminately fired 120 mm mortars at the Snovska community from the side of the settlement – 3 “arrivals” were recorded.

There are no losses among o/s and equipment. No information was received about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure. 

Russian troops shelled three communities in Chernihiv region

On February 17, the Russian occupying forces continued shelling the border areas of the Chernihiv region. Novgorod-Siversk, Snovsk and Horodnyansk communities came under enemy fire.

Twelve explosions from artillery shells fired from the Russian Sluchevsky region rang out in the border community of Novgorod-Siversk.

On the territory of the Horodnya community, the enemy fired half a dozen 120-mm mines from the side of the village of Chernihiv region.

In the evening, the enemy indiscriminately fired 120 mm mortars at the Snovska community from the side of the settlement – 3 “arrivals” were recorded.

During the previous day, February 17, Russian terrorists opened fire three times on the territory of Chernihiv region.

Around 12 o’clock from self-propelled guns, the Russians shelled the territory near the village of Kolos, Novgorod-Siversk community. 13 explosions were recorded here.

After 3 p.m. Russian terrorists fired mortars in the direction of Senkivka, Horodnya community of Chernihiv district (5 explosions). In the evening, the enemy fired mortars in the direction of Yeline village, Snovska hromad, Koryukiv district. Three explosions were recorded here.

There were no reports of casualties or destruction.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there is destruction: six residential buildings, three educational institutions and the central square were damaged,” he said.

In the Lisichansk direction, Seversk and Serebryanka of the Seversk community, Torskoye and Zarechnoye of the Liman community were under fire, without casualties.

In just a day, the Russians killed 3 residents of the Donetsk region, wounded 5 more.

34 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged – 24 residential buildings, administrative buildings, educational institutions, cars.

Avdiivka suffered the most shelling – ten. The enemy hit the city with aircraft, “Grads” and artillery. Information on casualties and damage was not received.

The attackers directed two S-300 missiles at Pokrovsk, targeting 4 private homes and social infrastructure facilities. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.

Russian troops attacked Ivanopil from Grady. 12 private houses were destroyed, a local resident was killed.

As a result of artillery attacks, we have injured people in Krasnohorivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, and Severnoy.

The police and Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

With the help of the police, 486 more people were evacuated, since the beginning of mandatory evacuation – more than 42,880 people, among them 5,929 – children, 2,193 – people with disabilities.

The Kherson region was shelled 65 times by the Russian army on February 17. One person was killed and three wounded, the Kherson regional military administration reported.

“According to the information of the Kherson regional military administration, the Russian invaders shelled the Kherson region 65 times. (…) Last day in the Kherson region due to Russian shelling, 1 person was killed, 3 residents of the region were wounded of varying degrees of severity,” the message reads.

As indicated in the regional military administration, the occupiers opened fire with MLRS, mortars, artillery, tanks and UAVs.

The Russian army attacked Kherson 13 times the day before – shells hit private and apartment buildings, the building of a higher educational institution, the regional military administration said.

as of 9:00 a.m., the invaders shelled the territory of the Kherson community 6 times. “The Ostriv microdistrict and the city center were under fire. There were no casualties or damage. An apartment, a house and a gas pipeline were damaged,” the city hall reported.

“On February 18, at 9:00 a.m., the invaders shelled the territory of the Kherson community 6 times. The district of Ostriv and the city center were under fire. There were no casualties or damage. An apartment, a house and a gas pipeline were damaged,” said the Kherson regional military administration.

The police of the Kherson Region reported about new recorded cases of Russian looting.

Russian invaders stole 3 Volkswagen cars from the territory of a state institution. And 1 more “Peugeot” car was stolen from the interior by the invaders. A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, it was reported that new cases of looting by Russians were recorded in Kherson, the district and in Beryslav district.

On February 18, the Russian occupiers fired four Kalibr cruise missiles at Ukraine from the Black Sea. This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Two of the four missiles were destroyed by the forces and means of Ukrainian air defense.

Chairman of Khmelnytskyi Oleksandr Simchyshyn said that as a result of the morning shelling, 10 buildings were damaged and two people were injured.

As reported by “Energoatom”, during today’s shelling of Ukraine by the occupiers at the South Ukrainian NPP at 8:25 and 8:27, the flights of two enemy cruise missiles were recorded.

It is clarified that the aerial objects moved along the Southern Bug in the direction of the city of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region, and flew dangerously close to the nuclear facility.

“The threat of hitting the reactor with possible consequences – a nuclear catastrophe – was high again. This is another act of nuclear terrorism by the Russian Federation, which threatens the security of the whole world!” – emphasized in “Energoatom”.

According to “Energoatom”, their flight over the station was recorded at 8:25 and 8:27.

“The aerial objects were moving along the riverbed of the Southern Bug in the direction of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region, and flew dangerously close to the nuclear facility,” the message reads.

Energoatom emphasizes that the threat of hitting the reactor with possible consequences – a nuclear disaster – was high again. “This is another act of nuclear terrorism by the Russian Federation, which threatens the security of the whole world,” experts emphasized.

“Energoatom” once again appealed to the IAEA with the demand to take all possible measures to stop Russian nuclear terrorism, the withdrawal of Russian military formations from the territory of the Zaporizhia NPP and the establishment of a demilitarized zone around it, as well as a no-fly zone over all nuclear facilities in Ukraine.
