Tragedy in Kharkiv: as a result of Russian shelling of residential buildings, a child died, 27 people were injured

The number of people killed as a result of Russian rocket fire on residential buildings, which occurred in the morning of October 6, has increased to two, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov said.

Synegubov said that a 68-year-old woman also died, adding that she was the grandmother of the dead 10-year-old boy and the 11-month-old wounded child.

Synegubov also added that the number of victims has increased to at least 30 people.

Kharkiv Region has recently experienced a surge in attacks following Thursday’s devastating rocket attack on a nearby village in Kupyansk, which killed at least 52 people and injured six others.

In a separate incident on October 6, three people were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Ukrainian city of Vovchansk, Chuguyiv District, Sinegubov said.

According to him, the victims include a 76-year-old man, a 75-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman.

“All three are hospitalized. Currently, doctors are providing them with medical assistance.”
