Trains delayed due to shelling in Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions

On the night of September 25, several trains were delayed due to Russian shelling in Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions and the power outage of certain sections of the railway. The fact is that due to shelling directly on the railway tracks, the trains were stopped, and passengers were sent to shelters.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia. The company added that although there will be train delays, “we will transport everyone as usual.”

“We are sending reserve diesel locomotives to all the powerless sections, we are assessing the damage as the shelling ends,” the railway workers added.

In the Mykolaiv region, an air alert was announced at 7:16 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, and the alarm was sounded after midnight.

The Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration reported an alarm in the region at 23:00. And it was canceled only at 02:43. No hits or damage to infrastructure were reported in either case.
