Two dead and fires due to shelling

On December 8, the Russians continued to shell the right bank of the Kherson region with artillery and drones of various types. As of 18:00, two dead people were known in Kherson.

Private and apartment buildings, an educational institution and other civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

In the Dnipro district of the regional center, the Russians killed an elderly woman. An 87-year-old Kherson woman was hit by the Russian strike – she received injuries incompatible with life.

At approximately 15:45, the Russians again shelled the Dnipro district of Kherson with artillery. A 45-year-old man received fatal injuries as a result of the attack.

Another Kherson resident was wounded on the night of December 8. At around 3:00, the Russians shelled the Dnipro district. As a result of the attack on the house, a 45-year-old man received an explosive injury and concussion. The injured person is in hospital.

In the afternoon, the Russians shelled the central part of the city. The Russians targeted high-rise buildings. As a result of the attack, the facades of the buildings were damaged and the windows were broken. A 78-year-old man who was on the street at the time of the attack was injured. He is currently under medical supervision.

In addition, on December 8, in the afternoon, the Russians, using a drone, struck a non-residential building in one of the settlements of the Berislavskyі district. The fire and rescue unit promptly arrived on call and carried out work to eliminate the sources of combustion. The population was not injured.
