On March 31, two people were injured as a result of a drone strike on the district center – a 54-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman. Medics provided them with the necessary assistance.
Police units on duty processed almost forty statements from people about the consequences of Russian shelling. During March 31, in addition to Nikopol, the Russians attacked the villages of Marganetska and Pokrovska rural territorial communities. They directed kamikaze drones and artillery – at night, and in the morning attacks from UAVs were added. Russian strikes damaged infrastructure, an administrative building, a municipal enterprise, a gas station, vehicles, garages and private homes. The fire was contained by emergency services.
The documentation of war crimes by investigators is currently ongoing. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Two police officers were injured in Nikopol region as a result of police shelling – the main department of the national police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
