Two killed, seven wounded in Russian attacks in Kherson region

Throughout September 22, Russian forces attacked settlements in the Kherson region using artillery and drones. As of 5:30 p.m., two fatalities and seven injuries have been reported.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a Russian drone attacked Mykilske around 9:00 a.m., killing a 69-year-old man. Another man, aged 63, was killed in a drone attack in Novovorontsovka at approximately 13:10.

Six people were injured in Kherson as a result of artillery shelling and drone strikes. Another person was injured in Beryslav after being attacked by a Russian drone.

The shelling damaged private homes and apartment buildings, as well as service vehicles and passenger cars.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the Russian attacks under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, concerning war crimes.
