Two people injured and houses damaged: consequences of Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia region

On March 2, Russian aircraft, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and drones struck 35 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia, Polohiv and Vasylivka districts. In total, the Russians carried out 766 strikes in the region during the day.

This was reported by the National Police of Zaporizhzhia region.

On March 2, Russian military personnel carried out an air strike on Komyshuvakh. As a result of this attack, two people were injured – a 61-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man.

In addition, on March 2, law enforcement officers recorded 107 reports of destruction in the region. As a result of enemy attacks, high-rise buildings and private houses were damaged: windows and doors were broken, roofs and facades were damaged. Also, blast waves and shrapnel damaged cars, outbuildings, and civilian infrastructure.

Law enforcement officers opened proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 “War Crimes” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on all facts of Russian armed aggression.

On March 2, law enforcement officers evacuated two men from the Zaporizhzhia district.
