Two people were killed as a result of a Russian missile attack on Pokrovsk

On the evening of May 21, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. Four people became victims of the attack, two of them died on the spot.

This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.

According to investigators, on May 21 at around 11:00 p.m., the Russians fired an “Iskander” missile at the village of Rig on the outskirts of Pokrovsk.

The rocket “flew” into the yard of one of the private households, causing serious destruction.

As a result of the rocket attack, a 52-year-old man and his 46-year-old wife died on the spot. Their 10-year-old son survived, but suffered a mine-explosive injury.

In addition, a 24-year-old man who lives in the neighborhood was injured as a result of the attack.

On the fact of the missile strike, criminal proceedings were opened under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
