
On the morning of January 27, the Russians hit an infrastructure facility in the Zolochiv district of Lviv region with a drone. Due to emissions of harmful substances into the air, local residents are advised not to go outside and not to open windows.
On January 27, the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytsky, spoke about the consequences of the Russian shelling of Lviv region. According to him, in the village of Smilne, Brody territorial community, specialists from the Lviv regional center for disease control and prevention recorded a temporary excess of carbon monoxide levels in the air.
“This is due to the morning attack by a Russian drone on an infrastructure facility in the Zolochiv district. The situation is under control. The radiation background is normal,” the head of the regional military administration reported.
Experts recommend that residents of Smilne with chronic diseases of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems avoid going outside if possible, and if such a need arises, use respiratory protection.
It is also not recommended to ventilate the premises.
“Service workers continue laboratory research on the direction of wind movement,” Maksym Kozytskyi reported.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region also reported that a fire broke out due to the morning Russian attack on an infrastructure facility in the region. Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the fire at the scene of the impact.
