Three Russian drones hit one of the Clear Energy Group’s biomass thermal power plants, its co-founder Andriy Grinenko said: “On the night of November 9, three drones attacked one of the Ukrainian thermal power plants – the one that the Clear Energy team and I built in 2016. It became a benchmark for the industry – the first large biomass plant, which proved to Ukraine: energy independence begins with local resources.”
He noted that there were no casualties as a result of the attack.
At the same time, there was significant damage to the thermal power plant’s equipment.
“For me, this project has always been special because of the people who created it with faith in a strong, self-sufficient country,” Grinenko emphasized.
As reported, the Clear Energy Group of Companies is engaged in the construction and operation of bio-thermal power plants, wind power plants, solar power plants, and landfill degassing stations, and has also announced the implementation of several gas piston plant projects.
