The carrier “Ukrzaliznytsia”, as a result of a Russian attack on the night of July 13 in the Donetsk region, lost two of its employees. The driver and his assistant, who were performing their work during the shelling, were killed.
This was reported by the head of the Ukrzaliznytsia branch, Oleksandr Pertsovsky:
“Bitter news in the railway family. The attacks last night in the Donetsk region brought losses: a train driver and an assistant train driver died while performing their work.”
According to him, a train assembler was injured last night in another section of the Donetsk region. The man received a shrapnel wound to the head.
He was transported to the Mechnikov Hospital in Dnipro to specialized specialists to provide maximum assistance.
“Our colleague’s operation was successful, his condition remains critical, but stable. The next few days will be decisive for his recovery,” added the head of the Ukrzaliznytsia branch.
