In Kharkiv, as a result of a rocket attack on January 2, university buildings located in the city center were mutilated, hundreds of windows were broken.

At Kharkiv National University named after Karazin was informed that several objects were damaged.
“In the main building, 550 windows of the old structure were damaged; in the 4th dormitory – 187 windows; in the university building at Nauky Avenue, 20 – 60 windows; in the North building – 50 windows; 20 windows of the Unifecht Sports Club were damaged, the educational institution said.
Universities hold charity meetings for restoration works.
On January 2, 1 person was killed and 62 were injured as a result of Iskander-M rocket strikes on residential blocks in the center of the city. There are 28 people in medical facilities, 4 of them are children. Two adults are in serious condition.
55 houses in the Shevchenkiv district were damaged.
