Velika Pisarivka in Sumy Region was destroyed by 40%

Velika Pisarivka suffers the most from Russian airstrikes and shelling in Sumy Region — the village has been destroyed by 40%.

Volodymyr Artyukh, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported: “The entire border area suffers significantly from enemy shelling, and the Velikopysarivka community the most. In particular, in the population centers of the Velikopysarovka community – Popivtsi and Lukashivkci – destruction reaches 90%. Velika Pysarivka itself is destroyed by 40%: the center of the community was affected – the school, administrative building, court, police, library, etc. were damaged.”

From March 13, an evacuation is being carried out in Velika Pysarivka. As of March 19, 299 people were evacuated from the village, including 29 children. Today, during the day, about 30 more people are being evacuated from the Velikopysarov community, Artyukh said.

“We accommodate most of the residents in the Okhtyr community, which has provided decent places, food, and medical care. Psychologists work with people. Public and international organizations work in the community, which provide the residents of Velikopysarivka with food and hygiene products,” said the head of the regional military administration.

There are 80 families with children left in the Velikopysarov community of the Sumy region. The authorities plan to forcibly evacuate children from the Velikopysarovsk community and the Seredino-Budsk community.
