Volunteer Olena Stroyeva died in Beryslav due to shelling by Russians with guided aerial bombs

On June 8, volunteer Olena Stroyeva died as a result of shelling by guided air bombs of the Russian Federation in Beryslava.

This was reported by Kherson regional council deputy Ihor Yosypenko.

The woman was born in 1967 and lived in Beryslav all her life. She had two twin daughters and granddaughters. Before the war, she worked at the city gas company. After the full-scale invasion, she began to volunteer, distributing humanitarian aid to people. Farewell to Olena Stroeva will take place on June 10.

According to Igor Yosypenko, the shells hit the house. Elena’s husband managed to jump to the basement, and she was in her room, and that’s where the hit took place.

“Olena Stroyeva, a volunteer of the charity fund “Ukrainians will win” was killed by the explosion of a Russian guided aerial bomb. Bright memory and boundless gratitude for loyalty, humanity and good deeds. You will forever remain in our hearts…” Yosypenko wrote on his Facebook page.

The deceased Olena Stroyeva lived in Beryslav all her life. She had two twin daughters and a granddaughter, Maryna Ilnytska, a neighbor, said.

“Olena was a very positive person, energetic, always ready to help. Before the war, she worked at the city gas company. After the full-scale invasion, she began to volunteer, distributed humanitarian aid to people, was a very active woman,” says Marina.
