On January 1, the Russians killed a volunteer from the public organization “Strong Because Free” Pavlo Matviets. Now he is 23 years old, wrote the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko.
“Pasha was very active, always ready to be among the first to come to the rescue. Despite his age, he managed to do a lot to restore our front-line Kherson,” writes Roman Mrochko.
Pavlo helped the Kherson City Military Administration deliver household appliances, food, and hygiene kits to Kherson residents affected by the Russians. Together with employees of the city military administration, he dismantled the rubble and took out the construction debris that the occupiers had turned into the homes of Kherson residents.
“Many Kherson residents will remember his cheerful disposition and big heart. This is a huge loss for his family, the team of the public organization “Strong Because Free”, for the entire Kherson community and volunteer community,” added Roman Mrochko.
