
After the Russian shelling of the Odesa region on the night of March 26, 60 thousand consumers were left without electricity. Half of them have already been restored.
About 17 thousand subscribers were left without electricity in the Izmail district. In Izmail itself, critical infrastructure is working, but partly it is done on generators.
There is no water supply in the city of Vylkovo. The issue of water supply for the population is currently being resolved.
In total, the Russians attacked four energy facilities in the Odesa region. In the morning after the attack, more than 30 thousand consumers were restored, but the same number remained without electricity during the day.
The south of the Odesa region suffered the most from the night strike on March 26 – there the Russians attacked the port and railway infrastructure.
As for Odesa itself, according to Yulia Afanasyeva, the situation with electricity supply there has improved. The city is preparing to resume tram and trolleybus traffic, which, under favorable conditions, will hit the routes on April 1. Electric transport in Odesa has not been running since December 12. Then the Russians massively shelled the energy infrastructure and the city experienced a blackout.
In some areas of the region, power outage schedules are in effect, while in others they are not – there the lights are turned on and off when necessary.
