“We are giving nightmares to local houses”: the Rashists are delighted with the abandoned property in Ukrainian villages

According to the information of the Information Resistance group, the occupiers in the east of Ukraine enthusiastically describe to their acquaintances how much good they saw in the occupied villages.

One of the Russian servicemen told the interlocutor that they saw a lot of new furniture and even “a refrigerator in a box”, televisions, tools. But, he is forced to admit, “you can’t take everything.”

It also says that their unit is planned to be sent on vacation to Kovrov, so many have taken up the preparation of certificates of unfitness for further service in order not to return to the front.

The Russians “liberated” Luhansk Region from two more mines

Businesses are closing In the occupied Dovzhansk (until 2016 – Sverdlovsk) of the Luhansk region, the invaders decided to close two more mines – “Red Partisan” and “Kharkivska”.

This was reported by the Luhansk Regional Military Administration. It is claimed that the equipment from both mines is taken to Krasnoyarsk Krai. In addition, the regional military administration told about a new excuse of the occupiers regarding the unpreparedness of Lysychansk for the heating season. Now the “LPR” group began to declare that the worst situation has developed in the city due to the fact that it was captured last. “They just don’t mention that the last one was only a few days later than Severodonetsk, which was almost completely destroyed, in contrast to Lysychansk, which survived more.

Yes, more than four months have already passed, and practically nothing has been done in the city, except for the distribution of firewood in high-rise buildings. People met the frost completely without communications,” said the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Gaidai, the de-occupied settlements of the Luhansk Region are still being shelled. Makiivka was completely destroyed, about 40 residents remained there.

The sky is on fire: the occupiers near Bakhmut once again bombarded the Armed Forces with phosphorous shells

The Russian occupiers have been using banned ammunition since the start of the full-scale war. A video of the shelling of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with phosphorous shells near Bakhmut appeared on the Internet. The videos were shared by a number of Telegram channels. On them you can see bright flashes in the dark sky.

The Russians are shelling the Armed Forces with phosphorous munitions.

A video of an enemy attack on the positions of the Defense Forces near Bakhmut appeared on the Internet. Flashes similar to those that occur during shelling with phosphorous ammunition are visible on them.

The sky is literally on fire. Our defenders in Bakhmut have to see such a picture, – says the caption to the video.

“The shelling does not stop day or night”: the head of the Avdiivka city military administration on the situation in the city

How does front-line Avdiivka live? Is there a threat of capture of the city by Russian invaders? Why is it important to evacuate and where to seek help for the townspeople left to live under shelling? The head of Avdiivka, Vitaly Barabash, gave an interview on these and other important topics.

Today, Avdiivka is one of the hottest spots on the eastern front of Ukraine. The first serious shelling of the city this year began before February 24, and after the full-scale invasion, it became one of the main targets of the invaders. Located 15 km from Donetsk, Avdiyivka is under shelling every day. And despite this, people continue to stay in the city. Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration (СМA), spoke about the city’s defense and the humanitarian situation in an interview with “Eastern Variant”.

— Tell me, what is the general situation in the city now? How often do shelling occur?

— Today, Avdiivka, like Vugledar, Maryinka, Bakhmut, is one of the hottest spots on the map of hostilities. There is constant shelling here, they do not stop either at night or during the day. Now, while it is raining, mortars and MLRS are working. As soon as the rain stops, everything they have starts working.

These are both tank attacks and artillery. The occupiers are trying to hit the positions of our soldiers, but they are flying to all areas of the city. They also beat the city. Sometimes they hit apartment buildings that have already been completely destroyed. We do not understand why to do this. Now in the city there is not a single building that would survive, the entire infrastructure has been completely destroyed.

We have only one road left to leave the city. Some call it “the road of death”, some “the road of life”. It happens that people are evacuated with it. And they (the occupiers — the author) launch a drone, see it, and hit her. It doesn’t matter at all what kind of transport is going – military or civilian, they fire at it.

— Is there a risk that the city will be captured by the enemy?

– You see, there are always risks. Our soldiers bravely defend the city. Since February 24, not a single meter of Avdiivka has been delivered. Now the enemy is trying to enter from the south and north, to surround the city, but he is not succeeding. But you understand, we lose the best, and they lose all of them in a row. In our direction alone, they can lay 100 people a day. The fighting continues, Ukrainian soldiers courageously defend themselves.

— Do communal services work in the city? Are services provided?

— Utilities are in place and working as they can. We do not have any communal services. There has been no electricity for six months, it is impossible to restore the supply. Our gas disappeared when it disappeared in the entire region, around May. There is no water either, we take water from a well and use it.

— In such a difficult situation, do doctors work in the city to provide first aid to residents?

– So. We have a room that is more or less safe, it is now a hospital. A total of 15 employees on site, 1 doctor, 4 nurses. We work from generators, we heat ourselves with boilers. We try to provide everyone with the medical services they need.

— Is there mobile communication in the city?

— We connect the generators to the mobile phone tower, and every day in the morning for 3-4 hours, a mobile connection appears. Unfortunately, it does not cover the entire city. But it is in the city center.

— In general, how many people are left now? And how long before a full-scale invasion?

— Until February 24, we had about 26,000 residents. Now it is about two thousand people. These are different age categories. There are old people, there are young people, unfortunately, there are also children. We are ordering everyone to evacuate and urge everyone to leave for their own safety and the safety of their families.

— Are humanitarian aid provided to those who remain in the city?

— Yes, humanitarian aid is provided to everyone, it is food, medicine, hygiene products.

We also work with the regional program, they bring us humanitarian aid, and international organizations help, and volunteers. We even now have a little reserve.

— How can citizens get help now?

– There are several options. You can call 15-48, leave a request. Or call the Department of Social Protection of the Population. We also have lists, we know who needs what and how much. We have headquarters, all residents already know where they are. They can come there and get everything they need.

— Is it possible for shops to work? Do «Ukrposhta», ATMs work?

– We have three stores. They are on generators, and their owners are restocking supplies as much as possible. ATMs are not working, as are banks. There are no branches of “Ukrposhta” either. The only way to get the same pensions is to move to safe cities. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any alternative here.

— With the arrival of cold weather, what kind of assistance is provided to the population remaining in the city?

– So. We collect lists. We have agreements with the Avdiiv Coke Plant. This is our joint program, they bring us small towns into the city. We just go around and distribute to people.

There are also international organizations that promise us even more small towns during this period.

But there are problems with this. People who take small pots do not understand how to mount them correctly, and where it cannot be done. They don’t understand that you can’t put borzuyki in places where there is no ventilation. And they carry them with them to the basements, where the rooms are closed, you see. As a result, we have accidents. The boiler cannot be mounted in a place where there is no ventilation! We have been explaining this to people all the time, but unfortunately, there are accidents.

As for firewood, we have a contract with suppliers. Because in the state program for the distribution of firewood, everything is fine, but there it is indicated “for compliance with the safety component.” It is one thing to distribute firewood in Pokrovsk or Kramatorsk, and another in Mar’inka or Avdiivka. The first problem is to bring them in, the second is to distribute them. It is very difficult, carriers do not want to go and deliver firewood. Therefore, we will deliver to the community not far from the city. And then in small batches to the city itself for people. First, we will distribute firewood to vulnerable categories, of course, then to others. To get firewood, people must write an application, attach documents that they have the right to a house. There are trees that were previously noticed as emergency, sick – they will now be cut down by utility workers and people can use them for firewood.

There are cases when residents themselves take chainsaws and cut normal large trees. We do not support this, the police work with such people. Because we think a little about the future, after our victory we will continue to live in this city.

— We understand that the city is in a very difficult situation. Is it possible to continue evacuation measures now? — Evacuation is ongoing. All the services involved in this work. We have several evacuation routes for now. The first is a state program in Ternopil from Pokrovsk. The second is regional evacuation to other communities of the region. And there is a third. This is our local initiative. From Avdiyivka you can go to Uman, we have agreements with this city. Due to the danger, departures take place in several stages. First, from the city itself to a safer community nearby. And from there to Pokrovsk, or to another destination.

Volunteers are engaged in evacuating people, these are special groups of people who help residents leave. They have armored vehicles so that it is more or less safe to leave the city. To evacuate, you can call our social security and make an appointment. As two or three people gather, volunteers leave to evacuate.
