Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Malyar explained the daily attacks on Kyiv: “The Russians are also waging psychological warfare. Their task is to undermine our psychological stability and unity as much as possible. After all, these are two important factors of resistance. How they do it: military and informational methods. For example, launching rockets at civilian objects in the center of Kyiv are weapons that are used for psychological purposes. First of all, to intimidate.”
She believes that Russian troops are targeting Kyiv as a symbol of indomitability and resistance.
“Therefore, to hit Kyiv for the enemy is to show the vulnerability of our symbol of stability. The enemy wants to subconsciously give Ukrainians the impression that the capital is defenseless,” the deputy minister said.
Malyar also reported that a few hours before the missile attack, an informational and psychological attack began – another discrediting of the military and political leadership of Ukraine.
“The Russians informationally attack those who enjoy the trust of the citizens. For what? Just like with the rockets on Kyiv, to sow a feeling of insecurity,” the representative of the Ministry of Defense is convinced.
