“Zircon”, “Dagger”, “Iskander-M”. How Kyiv repelled the most powerful blow in three months

On November 17, the Russian Federation dealt the most powerful blow in the last three months. Several types of missiles and about 10 drones were shot down in the Kyiv region.

“The armed forces of Russia carried out a massive, combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine. The last time such a powerful attack was carried out by the enemy almost three months ago,” the message reads.

In the capital of Ukraine, the air alert lasted almost five hours in total.

The following were discovered and destroyed by the defense forces in the airspace of Kyiv: several Kh-101/55 cruise missiles; several Dagger aeroballistic missiles; several Iskander-M (KN-23) ballistic missiles, probably a hypersonic missile of the “Zircon” type; up to a dozen attack UAVs.

As a result of the massive strike, a five-story building was damaged in the Pecherskyi district of the capital. In the Holosiivskyi and Dniprovskyi districts, the fall of debris on open territory and non-residential premises was recorded.

The number of victims as a result of Russian shelling in the morning of November 17 in Kyiv increased to two. Two women were injured in the Pecherskyi district of the capital. Earlier, it was known about one injured person as a result of the mass attack of the Russian Federation in the morning.

Currently, there is no threat to the lives of the injured women, they were admitted to the hospital.
